Standard single-tooth dental implant placement takes place over several months. Because your bone and implant need to fuse fully, we will perform the procedure in stages. As we’re working together, we want you to feel assured about the process, so building a relationship with you is important to us.
During your initial consultation, we will assess your suitability for implant placement. The implant will need a strong and healthy jawbone to support it. Because losing teeth can cause the jaw to deteriorate, we will take a series of 3D scans to better understand your bone health.
This appointment is also an opportunity to get to know you—to learn about your general health and what you hope to get out of treatment. We will use 3D animations to give you a better understanding of what is going on inside your mouth and help you visualise the implant process.
